This one-of-a-kind study on wood panel was one of the very first times I used architecture in my work. The piece is constructed with three landscapes (2 in watercolor, and one in graphite on paper), hand-cut and arranged in the silhouette of a generic, architectural home. The piece was inspired by the bold, geometric shapes seen in desert modern architecture, and is full of textural details, both in the painted landscapes and in the art materials themselves.
